Red lighthouses, beach, pier walk. 10–15 minutes. This is the Lake Michigan hour most guests actually want.

Musical Fountain

Downtown Grand Haven, evenings in season. A short drive from Minetta Avenue — not a five-minute walk.

Coast Guard Festival

Late July. Book the house on Airbnb before you assume there’s a week left.

Michigan’s Adventure

About 20 minutes. Pair with a lake morning so the day isn’t all asphalt.

Kirk Park dog beach

Off-leash beach west of here. Guests with dogs have used this house specifically as the easy drive.

Muskegon Luge & Pigeon Creek

Winter list. One of four public U.S. luge tracks, plus XC/snowshoe/lighted sledding in West Olive.

Dune parks

Hoffmaster, North Ottawa Dunes, Kitchel-Lindquist, Rosy Mound — all day-hike distance.
